Grading film posters can be very subjective and sadly, there isn't one definitive guide that every poster seller follows. At timelessmovieposters, we tend to grade our posters in a strict manner, meaning that when you receive your poster you are more than happy with the condition. There is nothing more disappointing to purchase a poster in a grade A condition only to find that it arrives with edge tears, pinholes and other flaws.
We have put together our own grading system, one that we hope you can use to evaluate your potential purchase and also use if you ever decide to sell your collection.
C9.0 - Near Mint |
The highest grade for our rolled posters – this will have virtually no flaws |
C8.5 – Very Fine + |
Our highest grade for a folded poster – this poster may have tiny surface creases or very small surface imperfections – no pinholes. |
C8.0 – Very Fine |
